It should be muted. I know the lead singer of this band did some deplorable things, and the band as a collective has been blacklisted. I really regret using music from them.

I just find it very therapeutic to create this strange stuff some people call "music"-without music, I would be very lost in life. I am extremely happy that a few people enjoy what I upload. I know it's usually people listening to my music who want to use it for creepy videos and whatnot, but it's cool to have a couple of general listeners as well.

I will attempt something next week. I am only working from Monday to Thursday this week, but for quite long days, and I am usually sleepy when I get home. I remember one I did years ago involving chants and Aztec death whistle sounds. It's quite a coincidence that somebody used the piece in a "Tormented Souls" gameplay video just yesterday. After searching for Native American music, about 90% of the results involve music with a flute and tribal drums. Creating this will be really easy, just a bit uninteresting. I am not exactly sure what to add to make it more exciting. Hmmmmm... I can do soundscapes, but I am not 100% sure how to make them sound Native American, per se.

Oh yeah, like I always say, only if you're down and it can be whenever, lol. Honestly, a mixture of like owls or nocturnal nature sounds mixed with ghostly sounds and some flute/tribal drum samples. Only if you want to, there's just a lot of hauntings in the Midwest dealing with native spirits and there really isn't much out there as far as music goes lol.

I've created a few pieces, but currently feeling burnt out, so I'm taking a break from music production for a while and coming back in a few months. (٭°̧̧̧ω°̧̧̧٭)

@@midwestghosthunterI did create something, and I uploaded it. I was saying that you lose your focus and can't concentrate after a while with the music stuff. After taking a break for a month or so, I am usually flowing with creative ideas again. I really can't wait to see your video! I watch every one of your video, I just don't comment on all of them.

A bit of a spoiler. Now we know you went to the basement of the place. :6 I'm glad you like it. After a few personal projects are out of the way (not music related), I will invest some time into learning about horror synthwave compositions and cinematic horror music, with all the big percussion hits. Of course, I'll still do the old stuff with the wild sound design... it's waaay too fun to stop doing.

Glad I didn't have to make the saxophone melodies (if you can call them now) sound good. I just threw random notes all over the place. It was hard to make it sound droney and fit with all the pad sounds.

As soon as you mentioned Al Capone, the honky-tonk piano and jazz-style bass guitars came to mind. Visiting any location associated with Al Capone would be super popular and very exciting to watch! It's like visiting the hotel from The Shining, the cemetery and church from The Omen, or the house from The Conjuring movie. All are famous places people know of and will search for. There is also a creepy place in Mexico I've seen videos of called "The Island of the Dolls," which I've also explored through Google Maps. True nightmare fuel! Anyway, did you want a jazz/swing slow, lounge-style horror vibe, or something else? I am actually quite good at writing melodies and riffs in the blues scale and very much enjoy doing it.

@PUR3vil Yeah, something like that would be awesome! Yeah this place actually has a ton of dark history too the basement was used by his men to execute people and there's still bullet holes and bloodstains left on the pole they used. It's a pretty nuts location.. Capones ghost is said to visit there too. I think it's gonna be one of my favorite videos by far. I definitely want to check out island of the dolls for sure!

@@midwestghosthunterNot exactly as I planned, but I managed to create something using a saxophone. It's quite a task to create something creepy with any jazz-related instrument, especially a Rhodes piano, jazz bass guitar, or saxophone. I uploaded a piece called "Haunted Lounge," as well as a few failed attempts, which I turned into background music, so it wasn't time wasted. I hope some of it is usable for your next video. I'm very excited for it!

It does sound like an 80s style synth a little. Now I am thinking about the theremin machine that they used to make all the sci-fi and horror music in the 1950s. It might be an interesting idea for me to try out. I don't know why I just randomly started thinking about them... lol

The funny thing is, I made this back in November and just didn't upload it because I didn't think it was any good. I got some VST called Pigments that I will be messing around with later in the week. Going to try to make some crazy and ghastly sounds with it. :6

A person last week told me they were going to use some of the music for a short movie on UA-cam. They told me that they found out about my channel from you, so I thank you greatly for that. (* ^ ω ^) I didn't know you viewed every video I uploaded! Woah... that is so awesome! I really want to make some emotional and magical-sounding piano pieces that make people really happy to listen to. It's going to be a challenge, but a very enjoyable challenge, none the less.

HY cool that you answered. At the moment I'm more active on TIKTOK INSTA AND X. UA-cam unfortunately banned my channel last year for copyright infringement. Now you learn from that. That's why it's all the nicer that there are people like you or Karl Casey who make their music available. I am in the paranormal field. I still make short videos. @@RealCoras66 It's quite amazing how much Midwest Ghost Hunter's channel has blown up over the last few years, and he 100%, fully deserves it! I remember his channel having around 50 subscribers for over a year. After a while, he started to really blow up. I knew it was just a matter of time before he became big because he had such a high production value. Ian has requested lots of pieces of music from me, like my "Abandoned Farmhouse" and "Haunted Angel" pieces. It feels awesome to hear the music I put into such well-polished and professional videos-it's quite an honour! If you do make a video, I'll be happy to promote it a little.

If you are using it for some sort of video, I would be happy to watch it. The animations you upload to your channel are pretty cool.

I've been working on lots of things, just not things on UA-cam. Yeah, the AI artwork has become significantly better! AI artwork became crazy good after the SDXL model got introduced, and subsequently, it gets better after each update. Updates are usually every month or so. I can't imagine how good it will be in another year or so.

Happy with the artwork as well! I wasn't sure if I should have used it as a thumbnail, but it's just a cartoon and not real blood, so whatever.

I am okay. I have been working on lots of projects. I just don't use UA-cam much now.

Was there a recent SAW movie? I only 'saw' the first two movies, and that was quite a long time ago. I remember them being quite fun. A girl at my workplace used to really, really love these movies and would go into vivid detail about all the gory scenes.

@@cristobalradio I have a midi-keyboard I use for the piano keys. I don't really use much apart from that. Ableton Live is some of the best music software you can get! I use Ableton Live, FL Studio, Maschine, and Renoise. Analog Lab looks like it has lots of amazing retro-style synthesizers-I really wish I owned it. The VSTs I usually use are Zebra 2, Synth1, and Crystal.

I have a MIDI keyboard. A MIDI keyboard is just something you connect to a computer to use with software. I have a Yamaha PSR-EW425 and an Arturia Microbrute as hardware synthesisers. A lot of the music I've uploaded was created with software VSTs like Crystal, Synth1, and Zebra2. Zebra and Synth1 are VSTs I use A L O T ! Both Crystal and Synth1 are free, so that makes them even cooler. You don't really need any of this stuff; you can create horror music with anything. I could create a whole horror piece just using one hihat sound. You can create good horror music just by using a $10 Casio keyboard. When playing ambient music, it is good to play notes in each octave. Sometimes, I use about four octaves at once to make the sound feel fuller and more involved. Ambient music sounds best when other layers of sounds fade in and out. If the sound is empty and lifeless, just add a second or third additional sound to it. If they clash, just delete a few notes or use something else. Adding a good reverb or delay to the sound is an easy way to make it more spooky.

Interesting. Yeah, I mostly dabble with melodic catchy themes on the keyboard but ambient stuff, especially horror is foreign to me for some reason. Maybe it's because horror is so unorthodox and kind of breaks the rules of typical music.

This type of music is so easy to make. In your last video, I remember hearing one of my music box pieces when you were in the attic with the doll and teddy bear. Anyway, I'm glad you can find a use for it. Creepy music boxes are very standard in creepy videos, and I am quite surprised more aren’t finding some use for them. I believe Deadly Rose used one of my music box pieces on one of her videos, and that is about it.

Now, after listening to it back, I feel like the sounds are a bit too drowned out. Then again, this is perfect for spooky videos. For a random person casually listening to it, I don't think they'll enjoy it too much, but oh well.

It is always quite interesting to know what other people visualise when listening to the music. The music sounds 2005? I thought a bit older, like the 90s, but maybe 2005. You gave me an idea about making music about a haunted hospital. I'd never really thought about it before. I am sure there are many approaches I could take to create something like this.

I have never played this game. It seems to be a free game, so I’ll check it out. I doubt the music will be difficult to create - I just need a better idea of what it sounds like. I remember you requesting Silent Hill-type ambience music a while ago, and I managed to create 4 or 5 tracks that sound a bit like the music in this game. Did you like any of them? If not, can you tell me which tracks from Silent Hill and Spooky's Jump-Scare Mansion you would like me to try to recreate? I am not going to copy anything 100%, I just want to recreate whatever track in my own style.

@@PUR3vil I think you have to pay for the game but it’s cheap tho and you could look up the soundtracks online. Yes I did like the silent hill sound tracks you made and I appreciate you actually made them! The sound tracks I want you give a shot at are- The merchant,your consenting mind, lusting strawberry, “This is Dan” Karamari hospital, Warm hands and a gentle stab, white noiz and Riverside Motel. Sorry if this is a lot but these are my favorite tracks from these games.

@NotNuvo I will try to do a remake of Lusting Strawberry one day. That is the piece I like the most out of all of them.

No problem. It was a joy to take a break from writing essays. The production of it went so smoothly, with every idea I tried working the first time, without me having to experiment at all. I enjoyed making all the weird, breathy vocals. I may release a video just for breathy voice sounds. A compilation of lots of sounds might be useful to somebody - that and the fact they are very fun to create.

Feel free. Since this piece doesn’t have a bass or any drums, there are many interesting approaches you can take when remixing it. Simple pieces of music tend to be really good to remix. Do whatever you want with the remix. It will be an honour for me to listen to the remix after you are done.

I haven't watched any of the horror content on TikTok. That is definitely something I need to check out in the future. I don't know if this piano piece has been used in a creepypasta, but I know a few of my other pieces of work have. Anyone is welcome to use it if they want to.

Hype for that! If you go to a haunted hotel or somewhere like that, you don’t have to worry too much about the equipment getting cold. I imagine most of the buildings you go to don’t have heating and are extremely cold. I like how the piano piece "Not Alone" sounds. It is the only piano piece of mine that really gives me chills. This one isn’t bad either. I like how it slowly morphs into something more sinister as it progresses.

It is quite an easy request to fulfil. I will try to put something together at the weekend. I made some sci-fi horror music a few days ago that I need to upload. Two popular channels, " Yoshimitsu Cáleon" and "KEON - EL REY RANA " used some of my sci-fi like tracks recently, which is extremely cool. They both have an insane amount of subscribers. I've been trying to create some more stuff that will fit the theme of their videos. When I get more free time, I also want to work on some violin pieces. All my violin stuff so far has been a bit… eh. I know I can do so much better.

Yeah, it has been fun. Creating music doesn't take up much time at all. I have created lots of music for the ghost hunting show called "Midwest Ghost Hunter." Some of the music takes about an hour or so - some of it takes about 10 hours. Ultimately, it depends on what they are asking for. For some requests, I have to do research on the style they are looking for and how it can be done. One request was to make a piece for an "abandoned farmhouse." I was happy with the results of this one, and it’s really cool hearing this piece in one of his most popular videos. It's also nice to hear my music in a variety of short UA-cam movies. It would be good to get a break and be offered a job by a big studio - maybe one day. I used to be able to beat a lot of difficult games. I haven’t played many games in the last 10 years or so. I played Brawl Stars and League of Legends for a bit. At the moment, I only really play "Genshin Impact" a couple of hours a week when I am really bored I can’t force myself to play Adventure Quest any more. I used to just play it so I could make videos about it. Now the interest in the game has diminished to literally nothing. Guys would comment on my Adventure Quest videos, saying things like, "You still play this kid's game?! ", "Play a real game!" and so on. The AQ videos only get about 5 total views per month now. It’s just UA-cam and not that important, so whatever. I knew my channel wouldn’t last forever unless I adapted with the times, which I failed to do. I wanted to pursue other passions anyway. I am happy that Zeruel82Mk2 got a big break with his animations and stuff. I know this guy is really talented at writing humour and stories. He is certainly making good use of his abilities.

@@PUR3vil Did you have musical background prior to starting the conversion towards music channel? Or just learned on the go? Games are fun pasttime but there really is so much more one could do with their time. Sounds like you're on good tracks. Yeah I guess that's just matter of any game that loses its playerbase over time. You did make lot of videos that many came to enjoy, so the present coverage hardly matters? Artix games don't seem to be doing that well in the age of smartphones. Epicduel had like handful players online last time I logged in

@@tappajaav Yeah, I did. The last 4 or 5 Adventure Quest videos of mine all had my own music in them. About 20 of my intros for my videos had music I created. I was doing this music stuff on Soundcloud while my Adventure Quest videos were still popular. I just later moved the music over here. Soundcloud isn’t that good of a platform any more. It has an awful search feature that makes it impossible to find what you are looking for, and it is literally full of spam bots. Not to mention all the scams running on that website. It's just not a great website now. ED has about 20 players online or less. I was never fond of that game, the combat was waaay too slow and turns took FOREVER. You are a Halo player? I used to love Halo 2 and 3. They are very addictive games indeed.

Perhaps a coinflip would be as good indicator as any for how a site will stand the test against time - altough with platform so massive as youtube it doesn't seem that it's going anywhere anytime soon. Has survived through many changes over it's lifespan(turning 20 in 2 years!). I enjoyed ED altough I got on that train bit late, just like with pretty much anything I happen to get even remotely invested in. The game did seem bit sub-optimal in performance, computer and/or internet connection seemed to play pretty large part in the fluidity of how it played. I think the idea and balancing themselves were decent. Maybe if it was released five years earlier it could've had much larger following. Now it's been over decade since the release of last(Omega) phase. I have to admit I have very little experience with Halo games. I was gifted The Master Chief Collection by a friend, which led to me playing H1 campaign with another. We're now in the early stage of Halo 2 playthrough(and our progress is very infrequent). The (co-op)singleplayer is refreshing experience opposed to multiplayer shooters I've sunk many thousand hours in the last ten years. I did try Halo Infinite when it came out, but were somewhat appalled by the slow time-to-kill and foreign nature of Halo FPS. What do you enjoy most about those Halo games?
